• Device identifier: A unique ID generated on your device to associate your account across app launches.

• Subscription data: Payment and subscription status managed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.
• App blocking preferences: Which apps you choose to block during sessions. This is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the DeepFocus service.
• To calculate and display your consistency score.
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Apple in-app purchases.
• To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. subscription receipts).
• To improve the app based on anonymised, aggregated usage patterns.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: For in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Device Permissions

DeepFocus may request the following device permissions:

• Usage access (Android): Required to detect active apps during focus sessions for distraction monitoring. This data is processed locally and is not sent to our servers.
• Notifications: To send session reminders and score alerts (optional, can be declined).

DeepFocus does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and session data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure third-party payment processing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

You have the right to:
